Membership period: Annually
Membership Guidelines
Regular membership shall be open to any current resident, property owner, business – for profit or non-profit – or taxpayer from Garrett and Allegany Counties and others as determined by a resolution of the Board. Regular membership will be fully granted after a membership review process by the Board, annual dues are paid, and the request is accepted by a majority vote of the Board at a duly called meeting. As a Regular Member, you are a paid supporter of Engage Mountain Maryland, for which we are grateful.
Voting Privileges
Each Regular member in good standing shall be entitled to cast one vote with respect to those matters submitted to the members for action or approval at the annual meeting of the Corporation by the Board. There shall not be any voting of members by proxy. Votes may be taken by voice, a show of hands, by written ballot, or by other methods to be determined by the Board.
Annual Meetings
An annual meeting of the members shall be held each year. Additional membership meetings may be called from time to time by the Board of Directors.

Associate membership will be granted upon receipt of a request for membership and payment of annual dues. As an Associate Member, you are a supporting member of Engage Mountain Maryland for which we are grateful.

Membership Guidelines
Free memberships are as simple as signing up to be on our mailing list. You will receive our email notifications for public meetings and action items to keep you involved. We are a community organization and understand that not everyone can afford a paid membership. That shouldn't exclude anyone from being involved.
