The Garrett County Arts Council, in cooperation with Simon Pearce Master Glass Blowers, is introducing its newest venture to bring artists and patrons together under one roof. The event promises art of the highest quality while providing a stimulating, fresh experience for guests. A blend of home-grown artists and new art-makers from other areas is intended to expand the horizons of community engagement in the arts. Fine art, craft, and regional food exhibitors will be selling all hand-crafted work displayed in a large, open, industrial setting at Simon Pearce. Admission is free with plenty of parking. The family-friendly event will include interactive art, demonstrations, live music, and an experiential learning corner for children. Simon Pearce will also be conducting factory tours and glassblowing demonstrations throughout the two-day event.
